Moving up to a Consultant, you will get more complex business issues which will be resolved by bigger teams. We would like you to take up the challenge of leading (part of) the team or (part of) the analysis and implementation.
A Manager is recognized by our clients as having deep proven expertise (business acumen & methodology). Typically you will manage the project in terms of budget, client expectations, delivery, people development and add-on sales.

As of day one I faced the client, contributing in meetings, digging the evidence, building convincing storyboards. Yes, the first months were pretty intense. I was given my own track, my own deadlines, my own stakeholders to manage. Sounds a bit tough right? I had my collegues to lean on of course, showing me all of their tips and tricks to get the job done. I still feel like I learned more in that one month than any business school could teach me.
Jungling more balls in the air, that’s what I do. Meaning, I am coached to prioritise more, to delegate more, to deal with tough situations, to handle more complex business questions, to distinguish high from low value. The pleasure I get is great, when you see the client engaging with you and committing to implement the value path identified together.
My main take-away as manager is, that I need to make sure the key question is turned into substantial and lasting value, no matter what and how. I am confident I can. Cause I witnessed the power of our “engage to deliver value” framework, and I complement with my consulting experience at different clients and industries. My job is content, style, a lot of engaging, and spotting the right value.
I start to realize what “building business transformation leaders” really means. My job is to make sure whole divisions of a client move in a new direction. They trust on me, as I have a proven track record in mining emotions and data, in crafting business strategies, in translating these strategies into a rock solid transformation plan, and foremost in committing in results.
Managing the practice is my main objective. That is not easy, as we have extremely bright people. I need to give space, challenges and recognition. I stay connected with top levels at clients, make sure I understand the political context, and am of big influence being a thought leader.
Papilium looks for self-starters with deep analytical skills, excellent synthesis drive and a passion to help organisations and its people. They have a master degree strongly connected to economics, engineering and/or marketing.
